Hey Stranger Pictures is a UK based film and TV Production company creating bold, distinctive and entertaining content for a global audience.

Founded by BIFA nominated producers Jessie Drake Mangum and
Tom Kimberley. Together, they have over 20 years experience across international sales, film financing and production.
​
Jessie's most recent credits include feature LOOTED (Film London, BBC Film, BFI) FIPRESCI winner and 2021 BIFA Award Nominee. She was also Co-Producer of Julien Temple's THE ETERNITY MEN (Rose D'or winner) and Associate Producer for UK / Irish co-production THE MIRACLE CLUB produced by Zephyr Films and staring Maggie Smith, Kathy Bates and Laura Linney.

Whilst working at Umedia, Tom helped to licence and finance a handful of projects including Anders Walter's debut feature I KILL GIANTS (Umedia, 1492, XYZ Films), MANDY (Panos Cosmatos), WHERE HANDS TOUCH (Amma Asante). He's produced a handful of high budget shorts, including BALCONY (Screen Star Toby Fell-Holden), BIFA nominated and winner of the Crystal Bear at Berlin. NAPTHA (Screen Star Moin Hussain), financed by Film4 & BFI, which screened at Cannes Semaine De La Critique and MOON UNDER WATER
by GRANDMAS, supported by BBC Film & BFI. He was also Exec Producer on THE MOBIUS TRIP from Screen International Simone Smith.

Our projects have been supported by a range of partners, including BBC Film, Film4, BFI, Film London, Screen Scotland, Screen Australia. ​ We currently have a number of projects in funded development, but are actively looking for new material and collaborations.
